" The First 64 days...the BRONZE Goal"

May 18, 2009 which was a Monday, was my first "OFFICIAL" start day. In the past, I always chose Mondays to start a new "Diet". I don't know why, because by the time Sunday came I was already off it. Anyway, stepping on to the scale in my bathroom, my eyes widen to the dismay of the number that popped up. 255.
G' to the Damn. Man, I have got a long road ahead of me. I already set the goal of giving up white rice and soda for 100 days. So as of May 18, 2009 no rice or soda ( Coke, Pepsi, etc...) was going into this body.

So, these are the weight goals that I have set. Bronze 235 pounds or less. Silver 215 pounds or less. Gold 200 pounds.

These are my stats:

Height: 5'9

Age: 35

Ethnic B.Ground: Filipino

Medical Conditions: Gout and other joint issues, bad knees.

Occupation: Director of Web and Graphic Development for David Grant Medical Center @ Travis AFB. Owner and Chief Designer for e3webmedia.

Fast forward to today, which is Monday, July 20, 2009. Stepped on the scale this morning and my weight is 234.5. Bronze Goal Accomplished! I have gone 64 days without rice and soda. Which has been very hard to do, considering I am Filipino. I also spent a week in Maui and no rice with all that great local food was H-E double hockey sticks! But I guess it paid off. Keep in mind too, that I have yet to work out. Dropping this first 20 was from eating right and eating a certain way. I wanted to elevatate my metabolism, so I have been eating in such a way that I believe has helped me. I'm feeling better and I am getting compliments thus far, but I do not want to hear them! I don't want to be contenet with what I have done so far. I still have a ways to go. So, with that said, this is my plan for next 60 days to reach my Silver goal.

At least 1 mile or 1 hour of cardio a day, 5 days a week. 20 minutes of Boxing 2 days a week. Wish me luck!
